Bastille Day, Perfect For News

Bonjour, Soul Mates,
hope it's been a great week for all of you. Here's the latest going on with Rush Hour Soul.

In the past week, we've made over a hundred new friends in the UK on MySpace. We couldn't be more pleased. We hope to be at 3000 dedicated friends by the release of our free download.

A lot of you have been enjoying our latest video addition to YouTube. It's us performing
Bad Penny Blues at the now defunct Bar120 in Huddersfield. Many of our fans from Hudds can be seen dancing to the sunshine funk.

Several of you have mentioned the ringtones to me. Well, A Talent For Loving is being remixed in York, as I type. Once we get the new mix, we will launch our ringtones. The work should be done by Monday as that is the day we are expected to deliver our masters to the mastering house!

Tomorrow, we begin rehearsals for our show on August 4. We will start the day with our first official photo shoot in a year. So it will be a busy day for your RHS.

In personal stuff, I finished reading the 5th Harry Potter book yesterday. My m.o. for the past several years has been to read the first 3/4s of a Potter novel, then see the movie. That way I'd know the plot but not the ending. Saw Order Of The Phoenix on opening day. It's briskly paced and filled with fun stuff, but considering the book is nearly 900 pages, lots was left out.

I was amazed that four years after its publication, I never heard who died in this one. Well done friends and family. Sincerest thanks for not spoiling the ending. However... Mikey, I think you shot the end of Half-Blood Prince. Ha ha. I'll start reading that today. I've given up my method. I figure by the time Deathly Hallows comes out all of the secrets will be international news and therefore impossible to avoid.

All for now. Check out the video.
Amour, Pouvoir, Paix

What? Nothing of the beverage selection for the day 4 me 2 copy? Can't wait 4 the download! Hoping you can arrange for Sir Will (is it improper of me to call him that if I'm on this side of the pond?) to overnight you and me the full Daily Mail paper from the July 15 issue in the UK. If you don't know why, just ask, and maybe you'll make the call pour toi et pour moi. :-) Amour? Pouvoir? Paix? Hmmmm. On this day and every day since the most recent French election day... yeah, down wit' dat. Love, Power, PEACE!
