Ain't Backing Down From Backing Barack!

Thanks to those volunteers and BHO supporters who reached out to me in the past 36 hours since my twilight zone experience at the Valley HQ. Senator Obama is still my man. I'm just gonna forget all about the gung ho foolios and hope and pray that they find a little balance and that the coordinators succeed in urging them to chill out. 'Cause when Obama wins on February 5 and I'm gonna show up at the HQ and be welcomed (and not pressed to phone bank). Like Curtis Mayfield said, "Keep On Pushing!"

N-n-n-n-new jack hustler.......
Y'know, after all these years of voting on the Republican side of the coin I'm leaning towards the brotha from IL myself. I just don't see a clear choice on the red side (McCain's too old, Romney seems too polished, and Rudy's personal life is too questionable). That leaves Obama and Hillary. Now, as stated in a previous blog comment, if she gets the Dem nom I'm moving to England to join the Spice Girls. And what is with her in the debates?? She keeps referring to her "35 years of experience"..what??? She's been an in elected position for only a few years, her stints as US and AR First Lady are not "experience", and before that she was a corporate attorney. Her only experience I can muster from her is political rhetoric and trying to keep her husband's zipper closed.
Obama, to me, is always well-prepared, thinks fast on his feet, and actually wants to do good for the country (as opposed to most politicians who are more concerned with their own ascendency)...
Yikes..in the almost 20 years I've known Norman I believe this is the first time I've sided with him politically.

P.S. All this talk of the Hoyas, yet no mention of my alma mater taking down the then #1 ranked Tar Heels last weekend...

And there shall continue to be none of that talk. Wallow in the victory now, cuz. Since when was too much polish a liability, when all of your reasons for digging BHO tend to revolve around different ways of saying polish, like PO-lish. Roll out the barrel... Happy Hour time.

As stated in Letterman's Top Ten List, Obama (if elected da Prez) said he would appoint Romney "Secretary of Lookin' Good"..
